The easy-to-use VC-1 accurately reproduces the cello’s tone without any modifications to the instrument. A wooden piezoelectric pickup is installed in the bridge’s keyway, held in place by friction. Precisely finished shim discs ensure a perfect fit. The 1/4″ plug is securely fastened to the tailpiece with a Velcro strap. The VC-1 is completely passive, designed to work perfectly with your favorite amplifier or through a preamp of your choice.
